4 Days Stockholm-Gothenburg or reverse journeys with M/S Juno & M/S Wilhelm Tham

Day 1. Stockholm to Trosa

Depart Stockholm 0900 hrs and sail through the archipelago to the first and largest lock on our journey at Sodertalje. Enter the Baltic Sea and sail to the town of Trosa. Some of the local fishermen's picturesque red houses have been rebuilt into attractive homes with carved wooden decoration and beautiful verandas. L,D


Day 2. Mem to Motala

Across the beautiful Lake Roxen to the most imposing series of locks at Berg. The ship will be lifted in numerous steps by 50 metres. A leisurely walk to the ruins of the nearby Vreta Convent is an option. The crossing of the aqueduct in Borensberg is a further experience. In the evening the ship berths In Motala. Opportunity to visit the Canal Museum and Motor Museum. B,L,D

Day 3. Motala to Lake Vanern

We leave Motala and soon enter Lake Vattern, the second largest lake in Sweden. We visit the Industrial Museum in Forsvik, and continue sailing through the countryside of middle Sweden, through forests and rich agricultural land. After the highest point has been passed, another lock step leads down to Lake Vanern. B,L,D

Day 4. Trollhattan to Gothenburg

Early in the morning we sail through the imposing Trollhattan Locks and journey on the Gota River to Gothenburg where the cruise ends at 1430 hrs.
